Recently we purchased a lodge which was partially constructed as the owners had their own reasons to change their plans but I had my own plans for the place. It was located on the bank of a natural lake which was surrounded by dense vegetation mainly consisting of thick trees. Most of my neighbors were raccoons, dears and a lot of little rodents. I just loved the place with its natural beauty.
We decided to complete the lodge, which was partially made of stones and partly wood as per the original owner's design and later modify anything which we didn't like or needed additionally. I looked around the surroundings and felt that our house should be as welcoming as the natural surroundings this could only be possible if it became part of the ambiance.

I went around to the nearby town and came across a handicraft store which had all sorts of décor items made from the local materials. The items were as per my idea; perfectly made wall hangings, door chimes, picture frames, mirrors set in bark frames and even bark and twig shelves to lay it all out.
These ideas are not just good for making a lodge look natural and pretty, but anyone can make his house look pretty with décor from the natural line of products which are ornamental items made from tree barks, twigs and wild wines. There are some items of utility which have a very ethnic look and gives your house décor an all together new perspective.
Crystals and brass décor has its own place but what the lodge décor has is something exclusive giving a very traditional touch to your living room and dining area. This will show the world your love for nature and your heritage culture.
